noisy turning

stock 95. when i'm turning it makes a clicking, maybe a clunking sound. but only when i turn. doesn't do anything else but make noise. can't see anything wrong underneath.

Could be a partially engaged hub. Auto hubs have been a problem and are often replaced by manual hubs.

never thought about that. the last time i had it in 4wd the hubs didn't want to disengage. i've heard alot of bad things about automatic hubs so i was planning on switching them out eventually.

not quite sure if its my hubs or not. i think it may be in the steering. it will make noise when i turn the wheel when its not rolling.

The same noise? A slight whine is normal
