You need the VSS signal input to drive the PSOM, as well as the PCM, E4OD (4R) and if equipped, the cruise contol
The VSS signal travels from the VSS through a fewc connectors to the 4WABS Control Module and then to the PSOM and on to PCM/Tranny/CC via more connectors; as show in this;

To bypass the 4WABS module @ it's harness's connector & feed the ABS signal directly to the PSOM,
In Module's connector (harness side); jumper LG/Bk to LG/Y, and R/Pk to O/LB..."
