Newbie Carb Question

I'm looking to get an opinion on a replacement/ upgrade carb for my 81 L6. It has the factory 1bbl on it and i'm looking to upgrade to a 2 with the least amount of tinkering and adjusting as possible. Any ideas would be appreciated.

well if you want more bbls then you will have to upgrade your intake manifold, you can get an intake for the I6 that will mount any normal 2bbl or 4bbl setup for about $300.

if you don't feel like spending that kind of money then you can always adjust your jets and float bowl level in your 1bbl to increase fuel flow.

Sounds like a plan (the intake manifold that is). I looked at some when i got the truck and was considering it. Just looking to see if anyone did something similar to theirs. Thanks
