I am both new to the forum and new to broncos. I always figured that if I was going to get a full size truck with all the bad gas milage and all, I might as well get a "real truck." Some friends of ours moved and did not want to take an 83 xlt with them. I took a good look at it and fell in love, took a drive and it was all over. I bought it. One of the first things I did was take the roof off and take it for a drive. It was not hard getting the screws out but it was tough getting the roof off the truck. That thing is heavy! The worst part was getting it back on. With just a little help from my wife I thought I would never get it back on without tearing it up. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
I am looking forward to working on this truck and getting it ready for the trails. This forum is going to be a great resource.
