I'm new as of today. I'm a regular on FSB forums, and thought i'd check this one out. I have a 1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer with a 5.8. I've made some mild upgrades to it. the direction i'm trying to point in my upgrading is better fuel economy. i know its almost a lost cause, but it does so many other things so well--why can't i try to squeeze every ounce of awesomeness out of it? right? Anyway my upgrades/repairs/things i've done to it are below and pictures as well.

THINGS IVE FIXED, UPGRADED, OR MODIFIED

new distributor cap

new plug wires

new plugs

new distributor

18" electric cooling fan

4 hole injectors

optima battery

nice head unit with a 10" sub (450w)

33 12.50 15 tires (i know, that kinda goes AGAINST what i'm trying to do)

new clockspring

mpguino installed into dash bezel

new EGR valve

new EVP sensor

new TPS

13.5* timing bump

PSOM recalibrated after tires

seafoamed about a million times

passenger side brake caliper replaced

passenger side wheel bearings and seals replaced

grille replaced

THINGS COMING UP

top removal

spray in bedliner (from rear floorboard back)

fuel pump access door install

bushwacker street flare install

bassani y pipe and 3" single exhaust all the way back

Hedman Full Length headers

yo MATT,

WELCOME!

You have done a lot and from plans, I see that you know quite a few functional improvements incl the fuel pump access.

Btw, our Sponsor here, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard has a Patch Panel for the fuel pump access; 48in. x 16in. for 80-96 Bronco & F Series; $35.00

Welcome Matt, (no pun)

nice looking ride. you can be proud.

help out an old dumb guy.....what is a "clockspring", as it relates to a Bronco?

A clockspring is a "spring-like" wire that is between your steering wheel and your steering column. it's purpose is to be the conductor for the horn, airbag, and cruise control (if you have it). its configured in such a way so that you can turn your steering wheel all the way left and all the way right without losing connection to the horn, airbag, and cruise. It's function is similar to a slipring in a generator or motor (allows current flow through a moving component).

Miesk5, you might know me as mkt2488 on FSB. i'm the guy that had the crazy pinging that ended up being a magnetized dizzy shaft... you helped me out immensely and are definitely a Bronco-God.

i forgot about the most important upgrade that i've made, which is remote start. I plan on using the "trunk" button on my remote start keyless entry to roll down the rear window. This is proving to be a little tasking, but rest assured--it will be done.
