Just logged in for first time, but far from a new Bronco owner (no new Broncos, eh?). Got into 4 wheelin' in 1963 in a then brand new 63 International Scout (belonged to Pop). I didn't get behind the wheel until 67 but that's what I learned on. Sold it as a pos in 69 to get a new VW to go to college in (#3 in draft lottery so had to keep up a student deferment to avoid having to carry a black rifle in a nasty foreign country). Got back into offroading in 83 with a '78 Bronco which I still own. Put a 460 in her a couple years later and whoo ahh what a difference the extra ponies made. Better mileage too and no smog. Then got a new 90 fs as my daily driver and huntin' vehicle. Still have em both. About a 100m total on the 78 and 200 on the 90. Might say I have a few miles on the both of them. The 78 has 33s on it and posi front and rear with manual hubs and 3.50 rear end gears. Nothing stops her. The 90 is pure stock save for a K&N, 10.50 streeters and JBA headers as the stock manifolds kept on a crackin'. BTW PRK in my handle stands for People's Republik of Kalifornia, home of Ahnold, the black woodsman (his name 'auf Deutsch') Schwarzenegger, just another Democrat with a different label! Thanks Don
