Hey,
Just getting back in to the Bronco thing after a long time away. Sold my first (1970 sport) 25 years ago and have regretted it ever since. Last week my lovely wife agreed to letting me purchase another (1972 sport) and here we go once again.
I think my biggest joy so far in owning this one came yesterday. Rig came running but with no exhaust. Last night with new exhaust on and rumbling nicely I took my 16 year old for a quick run around the block. cruising along at 30 in second gear I hit the gas, watched the front end and speedometer jump. This in turn caused my son to clap his hands and giggle like a little girl. unbridled V8 power at its best and it was a first for him. Looking forward to spending many years of this kind of fun with my sons.
Pictures show her right after I got her with a homemade, yes I weighed it, 305 pound front bumper and winch. She looks much happier in the other picture without all the extra weight.
If you look closely to the right you can see my 16 year olds project. While not a Bronco still fun. It is an 83 DJ5 right hand drive postal jeep. It looks like a toy next to my beast!
