ok so i guess my idea of 37" tires is out the question...so now im looking into a 6" lift with 35s tires..since its main purpose is NOT off roading more of a summer cruiser..whats a good lift kit i can throw on..also what kind of beefy looking tires can I put?

also can i keep my original rims?

should i take the top off?

Welcome to the Zone > . Post some pictures when you get a chance and add the truck vitals to your signature, that way it is easier to to respond to some questions.

There are a lot of tires out there. Putting on 37s will require a wider rim than the stock rim plus you will need to change the gears in the rear and front differential. Also, larger tires will usually cause lower gas mileage, but then you didn't buy a Bronco for an economy car any way did you ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> .

As far as the top goes, why not? It is generally a two man job to lift it off so keep that in mind if weather in your area is a problem unless you don't mind the interior getting wet, like a truck with Rhino lining in it in place of rug.

Good luck,

:)>-

I really like this look. This Bronc looked like a complete P.O.S. before the lift and tires. Its a 6 inch lift and 36 inch Super Swampers. These ones are Radials so they are quite a bit more expensive, you can get the plain TSL's for half the price and they also look pretty cool. This truck has a stock 302 and stock open diffs with 3.55 gears. I have been bugging him to do a gear swap but he says it is fine for him.

My main reason for owning a Bronco is the fact that I can take the roof off

Thats one reason why I want one. The other reason I love Bronco's is the fact that they look so much like the pickups, yet are not a pickup.

Thats another reason why I like 4Runners.
