Don't know if they street legal but pretty sure they are. I have two on my bronco and they sound great, especailly with headers.

if i couldnt get headers right now what would be the next best thing to do? Hey what kind of headers do you have and when you put on your exhaust did you see any changes? Are the headers good?

Headers are aways recomended. I put a pair of shorty headers from a 88 mustang on when I put my new engine in. I took the truck to an exhaust shop and the ran the pipes. Duals with cats and mufflers for 650. The truck has a significant improvement in preformance and sound. I almost went with a different muffler, glad I didn't.

I have a Flowmaster setup on my SC. The centers rotted out and they blew the bottoms out. I welded half a license plate to each to cover the gaping hole. If I had not already bought a flowmaster for the bronco then I would have gone with a different muffler. In my opinion if it falls apart there is a problem. When it is a hard part there is a problem with the part itsself. Had only one of the mufflers done this I could see it, but both of em went. I looked inside them and the guts were missing.
