I went to an emissions station last week for my annual test and was failed because of some new requirements.  Supposedly I don't have all my emissions ports turned on.   How many ports do I really have in a 1996 Bronco with the 302?  Why the change?

Hey Blu ask the testing station to tell you specifically what "ports" they are speaking of.  Just a guess is that if the truck wasn't warmed up to the proper temp. some reactive devices could be read as "turned off"

I cannot believe that they have the ability to interface with the cars comp and read data without knowing what data is outside the parameters.

BUT then again we are talking about a state government program, so I may be stupid thinking they would have any type of organized and rational collective data available.

Wishing you a whole bunch of Luck!
