Hey new to the site, so far its been very helpful. will get pics up as soon as its sunny. i have an 89 xlt bought it with X45000 with a rebuilt tranny, k&n intake, magnaflow exhaust, 33's bf goodrich at, and a 1 inch body lift. beautiful interior and good paint, sort of. the original owner used it as a hauler for 4 wheelers when he went on camping trips. he owned a 4x4 shop and was very on top of maintenance. on a trip he was climbing down a steep grade and slid into a tree messing up the push bar, front fender, and grill. fixed it, drove another year rebuilt tranny and sold it to his buddy, the man i bought it from. it came with all records since 96 crash was in 03. so his buddy lives in san fransico and drove it there also neglecting the maintenance for 3 years until i bought it. i know this because of the records and lack of. also from talking to the dude. got a steal on it and put new electrical in, starter alternator, battery starter celinoid, battery cables new filters new oil the works. and its been amazing, slight electrical problems in the starting and fuel pump atm, but thats another post. i also need new exhaust and manifolds as the originals are cracked and i bunged up the exhaust. but easy fix, if i had the $$$. but one thing at a time, bummed i'm missing the wet season though i just moved to redding 8 months ago and i see the trails everywhere, but with my truck in its current condition i can't go alo.
