Hey guys, does anyone have any diagrams of the trailer towing wiring harness that connects to the plug insert below my rear bumper of my 95 Bronco? That's a better alternative for me then to test every wire I see. The problem that I'm having is when towing a trailer my running lights on the trailer are dead. The turn signals and the brake lights work, but when I turn the headlights on, my trailer lights won't illuminate. I'm thinking it's a ground somewhere, but I don't know which color wire to trace that controls the running lights, and there's a great big bundle of them that dissapears underneath my gas tank. I know the problem is in the truck and not the trailer. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Thanks, I printed that out 2 weeks ago and went out to the bronco, and nothing underneath there looks like that diagram. I guess I'll have to test each one and find out where each goes and what it does. Thanks again.

ok, If you have time and can see the wire colors; let us know what you have there.

You can try these sources for diagrams;

Auto Repair Reference Center Repair Manual, Mostly Chilton; many local library's offer free online access for their members; just log-in w/your library Card # and password; incl. all Broncos, & many MAKES! 1951 to 2009; some years (85-96, I believe) include: FULL Technical Service Bulletins and Recalls, Labor Hours per repair (plug in appl info); Wiring Diagrams, Vacuum Diagrams (in DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS CONTROLS Section), Specifications (torques, etc.) & Maintenance Intervals

Source: by arrc.epnet.com

some Libraries also have Mitchell on-line; that is an excellent resource

Repair Guides & Wiring Diagrams (click vehicle, year range) & go to Chassis Electrical & scroll for Wiring Diagrams...(under license from Delmar Publishers, comb of Chilton/Nichols/Delmar & Haynes); some may be incorrect, as reported by Seabronc, thanks Seabronc! NEW SITE URL!!! MUST REGISTER TO VIEW; select year, make, model, engine size and go to appropriate section Source: by Chilton via Autozone

Well, it turns out I looked into the wiring harness way too far. All I had to do was look on the plug cover, and there was the diagram I needed which pointed out the running lights.

It's yellow btw. I have no idea where it goes and how far I need to trace it but at least I know which one it is now.
