I JUST GOT A 1988 BRONCO 5.0, AUTO, 4X4

WHEN I AM IN 2 WHEEL DRIVE THERE IS A CLICKING SOUND IN THE FRONT(RIGHT SIDE) . WHEN I PUT IT IN 4X4 THE CLICKING GOES AWAY. BUT IT IS HARD TO TURN. IF I TURN HARD TO THE RIGHT AND GO IN A CIRCLE THE RIGHT REAR TIRE SLIPS .DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT IS WRONG?

I ONLY PAIDED $500.00 FOR IS AND THAT IS ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH IT

The hub in the front wheel may be bad, not disengaging. SOmetimes it's just the grease has gone hard or dried out, others it's a broken part. Pull the hub cover off and have a look. Alot of folks change out the automatic hubs for the more-reliable manual ones.
