wow thats crazy..are u letting the freeze plugs dry all the way before running the truck? you might have a clog somewheres if it keeps over heating which would cause a pressure build up but i think the hoses would pop before the plugs....is the coolant circulating and is the water pump and thermostat ok????

You may have a bad head gasket if its leaking compressed air into the coolant system from the cylinder or cylinders it could do that , A friend of mine just went through that with a ranger with a 302 couldnt keep antifreeze in it for nothing sit and idle all day never overheat take it down the road and come back looking like something from the exorsist . Guy at radiator shop told him to take radiator cap off ans start it and to look for air bubbles in the coolant we did and there was lots of them I didnt see why it wouldnt be leaking into the cylinder but turns out that we pulled the heads off and you could see in the gaskets where 5 of the cylinders were leaking into the coolant passage 120 lbs from the cylinder would overcome the gasket but the 13 lbs from the collant system wasnt enough to go the other way . What lb radiator cap do you have on it ? Does antifreeze come out of it before the freeze plugs pop out ? Try leaving the cap loose once so it doesnt build any pressure . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
