I just replaced the 302 in a 96 Bronco it runs fine but when you come to a stop it dies. Put it in park it will stay running as soon as you put it in reverse brake on it dies. Any ideas. It was a 95 truck engine, but it has the 96 throttle body and the 96 timing cover for the knock sensor. It is not a Vacum leak. I used two cans of starting fluid spraying hoses and the idle never changed. Please E-mail me at [email protected] if you can help. I am a disabled vet who is out of work right now and I can't afford to take it to ford for diagnostic right now. Thanks for any help.
