Thanks for reading my first BZ post!
I finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first EB. Wanted to start with something solid (rare in north-east)and I didn't want to have to futz around with body work and paint.
Found an uncut '74 302 auto out in Colorado and gave it to a friend who does restorations for a living to get the paint right. He just finished the re-assembly of the body last week, then it's onto the transport to bring her home to PA.
Before/after pics attached.
Bumpers were too rough to save, so they'll be added as soon as she gets here.
Next steps:
- Family Roll Cage
- Original style hubcaps
- soft top
- Tunes!
I'm sure I'll be back often to ask questions, as this is my first EB. The plan is to keep her fairly stock and drive her daily...
