yeah i have an 81 bronco that i just got a couple months back ive always wanted one i only payed 1,000 for it and i was told it wasnt ragged on or anything but stuff keeps falling apart on it all the all the weather stripping needs replaced got two big rust spots on the quarter panals the tail gate has a rust spot on it and the hood is all scratched and dented the carpet in it is tearing and falling apart but the interior is still pretty nice besides that, the engine is in pretty good i think besides the vacuum hoses i love it but it seems like i just need to replace a bunch of shit in it and idk if i should just buy a nicer bronco and save money are just restore it i want to put a lift on it, bigger tires, replace the carb to a 4 barrel but idk if i should buy a newer lifted one in better shape im only 16 i think it would be fun project to do that stuff but its my only vehecle so just give me some advice on what i should do please!!

welcome.... that's a good looking truck you got there....

any larger pictures of it?

oh and my advice.... Keep it, learn what you can while working on it. Sure at 16 not having wheels running feels like a hardship when you just got your freedom to get behind the wheel, but the knowledge you gain while making the repairs is a much valuable experience for later on when you find yourself on the side of the road needing to repair your truck.

save up and buy a cheap welder for 250-300 bucks then go crazy, im in the same boat as you 16 now was 15 when i got my bronco, took me a whole year before i could get it on the road, i had a list a mile long of things it needed and slowly worked on them, and uasually did it wrong the first time, cause it was my first time so had to do it twice hahaha, lots of long hours, but did but the 6 inch lift in witch makes it look so good!!, good luck on fixen it and when you do everything yourself it makes driving it so much more fun.

Welcome to the Zone.. That a nice bronco. almost all the early 80's models have rust in the rear wheel wells and the tail gate. I guess it depends on what your long term plans are with her. I bought mine specificaly for playing in the desert. so I just cut the rust out of the rear wheel wells. I plan on cutting out the front to. but mine is for play and looks are not to importants thats my two cents.
