Lucky for me I'm the owner of a Ford Bronco. 1993 5.8L. I was taking my girlfriend home and I look up to see a Blue chevy something stopping short due to the car in front of it stopping short. I stomp on the brakes, I'm burning rubber sliding towards this car. I come within inches of it. I look to my girl and say "Are you oka-" We **** forward after being rear-ended by a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee! I pull off to the side of the road, dial 911 after asking if she was okay. I get out and look at the back of my Bronco. The back window is still intact (I have no idea how), and the tailgate is severely dented. I look to the Jeep Cherokee and the front end is a crushed pop can! I feared the worst due to the fact that I knew the driver and passengers of the vehicle. I run down towards them, the driver gets out along with the passengers. The law showed up and gave everyone proper medical attention. The worst injury was a minor concussion from one of the Jeep's passenger. He was not wearing a seat belt. He's lucky it had an airbag to stop him from flying out the windshield. The police come and the driver of the Jeep received a ticket. The Jeep is totalled. The radiator is shoved in the motor and it was just carnage. Everyone walked away and that's what matters. But now back on topic of Broncos. I drove it home afterward. It's fine. That big loveable lump of American made steel saved me from a far worse fate if I was in a lesser vehicle. I love Broncos!
