move idle rpm

Hey when i sit at idle my rpm's go dow to about 500 and my anlternator power drops way low but when i gas it it all goes back to normal so i wanted to change the rpm's at idle how do i do this?

First do a complete tune up and if the curb idle is still too low, the adjusting ***** is normally on the fire wall side of the linkage. It's about 1 inch long with spring coiled around it. If you have an original engine the setup proceedure should be listed on the emissions sticker.
