Hi

I just picked up a 1969 Bronco Sport. The truck came with 33 inch tires custom rims. Spare tire and wheel the same. Standard swing style tire mount is on the truck. Trying to figure out best way to mount.

Question: Will the OEM cup style with the wing nut work with extra through- bolt. Need some direction. Thanks

Hey DJ, welcome.

It's hard to answer your question since we have no information about your custom wheels. size, offset, etc. Kinda like saying, "Hey I found these shoes, will they fit my feet?"

Best guess is it won't. The brackets, and carrier were made for a smaller diameter tire and narrower wheel....but hey maybe with some modification.

Good Luck

It may work with an extention off the stock arm however the weight of the tire and rim slamming shut on the tailgate will dent the metal. Trust me im in the process of welding a new patch on my dent and fabricating a new bumper swing arm. Good Luck!
