I have a 1986 Bronco with 302 ready to ***** I'm planning on putting in a 429 back-up with a C-6 but the C-6 is mounted to the 429 that I plan on using, the problem is it's a 2wd tranny and I can't find (or maybe my search entrys are incorrect) the adapter between the trans. and the T-Case, I know I have to swap the tail end of the trans. withe the shorter 4wd tail housing and whatever else but my problem is trying to find said parts in a kit or the parts period for that matter, it's starting to get me concerned, anyone have any suggestions on where I can find these parts or if it's even possible to mount a C-6 to a BW1345.....I've been told it can be done with a BW1356 but I don't know if the two are similar enough to use the same kit.

tHanks for your time with this guys.

You have to have the main shaft and tail housing adapter from a 4 wheel tranny to go in your 2 wheel tranny making it a 4 x tranny . This will require the tranny being disassembled . All the ford T cases ( for 1/2 and 3/4 ton ) have the same bolt pattern so you can bolt any of them to a C6 / aod / E4OD . They have the same input spline . I cant remember the model of the bronco 2 / ranger T case bot that is a different bolt pattern but advance adapters makes an adapter housing to mate that T case to a C6 or C4 for around $400 . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
