I'm doing a 6 to 8 conversion and wondered if I had to modify the frame to accept the V8 motor mounts. I know you buy different ones, but do you have to do any modifications to the actual frame to accept them?

Where are you...?? & what is left of your 6 cyl. eng..?

No mods to the frame really.., just removing the mount attach points on the frame & weld on the new ones that accept the V/8 motor mounts.

Assume your talking a Ford small block V/8...

The previous owner did something with the motor and sold me the truck.

Yes, a 302/351.
