Looks sweet. How does it work with the top and bottom 4 link bars so close together on the axle. Are the coils mounted outboard the frame and if they are do the tires rub them? This is a very cool set up and was interested in these thing. Thanks

The coils are outside the frame, with lots of clearance. They locate directly above the leafspring perches. The lower links replace the leafs, and are bolted to the diff with U bolts, just like the leafs were. This setup gives a smooth stable ride with lots of susp. travel, BUT! very limited articulation,as the links and the diff are one unit. I am still refineing this setup, and am keeping it as it does work exceptionally well on the street, and so far, well offroad. I am starting a second set of links to help iimprove artic.I will of course keep everyone posted of the results. As this system is so tight, the upper links just help keep the diff centered and control torque. One big advantage I have found, there is NO axel wrap.

Move your lower links father forward, to within 2" behind your upper links. Change your lower links attachment at the frame, to heim joints (as it appears you've done for your upper links). Those two changes should make a drastic improvement in your ride and flexibility.

What coils did you use?

The coils are 6"frt. coils for 79 bronco. The way this system is designed, I am using the stock spring mounts, the articulation issue is a result of trying to keep it tight for street use. My truck drives better than it did stock now. How many trucks with 10" of lift can drive straight without holding the wheel? I was out at our anual volunteer days for the weekend, in flooding and washout conditions, it worked and performed awsome on all trails and was smoother at higher speeds on rough pitted trails. The new links I build will be the same length,& mounted in the same locations, with flexable joints & stabilizing links attached, this setup should give me the best of both worlds. On and offroad.
