Hey Guys:
I'm fairly new to the Bronco world - we got ours probably 6 months ago from a friend who was thinking about trading it in.
Anyhow anytime I start the car and try to put it into a drive I really have to give it some elbow grease to get it past reverse.
Than at times when the car is left on an angle (in park) for a little while it will have problems shifting into gear and than when it does the RPM will drop very low and it will stall. Eventually it will start again.
I plugged in the code reader and got code 634 - Manual Lever Position out of Sensor - I looked up it up in my repair manual and it doesn't look like too hard of a job to do the adjustment myself. It looks like I'll need a speacial tool though.
What do you guys think is it an easy job ?? Can I do it myself ??
Also any idea what these Broncos weight ?? I want to get some jackstands to do the job myself but am not sure on the weight.
