Last night i was out mudding got sideways and hit a rutt.

im not sure what happened but it was acting weird turning and four wheel drive wouldnt turn on.

This morning my 4 wheel drive was just "magically" turned on. i tried to put it in low range wouldnt work.. i then took it out of four and its driving fine but wont go back in....

im really confused its an electric four wheel drives so it could be lots of things.. im thinkin i broke a hub.. or something idk

im not big on mechanical stuff.

Please reply.

Thanks

Adams

your chain in the t case might be messed up or the motor to put it in 4 wheel may be stuck

Have you made any headway with it yet ?

Since the problem seems to have developed after an impact and is with range shifting I'd guess it's got something to do with the shift motor, specifically I'd start by looking at the motor position sensor.

The link Joe posted is a good one and is probably the best place to start understanding how your electric shift works & how to diagnose it.
