i just bought a new universal aluminum radiator from jegs and my old flex-a-lite dual 12'' fans dont fit it so i was gonna put a single 12'' electric fan up front as a pusher and put a mechanical fan to pull too. any problems with this set up? i heard you cant use both pusher and pullers at the same time before but wanted to check before i did anything

Sure can use both. A lot of Hot Rods are set up that way. Good thing you are doing that, a 12 inch fan will NOT keep enough air going thru the radiator and would result in heating problems. You need something in the range or 16 to 18 inches pulling around 4000 CFM.

Here is what I have on my 351W along with a HD radiator. It is from a Lincoln Mark VIII with a 4.6L engine.

Good luck,

:)>-

OOPS missed the fact that you had 2 12 inch fans  :-B

i would make sure you have your elictric fan on a switch, water tends to load the fan and either you will fry a fuse or fry the motor. if off roading isn't your thing then you won't have anything to worry about
