Hey guys how are you doing? I am new to the Bronco family!! I am a long time mustang owner and figured it was time to play with a bigger toy for a while. What I was wondering is how large of a tire can I go on a stock lift '67 bronco? Thanks for all the help and look forward to talkin with all you guys in the future.

For a stock height vehicle without cut fenders, you are only going to get a 31x8 tire in there. You also have to flatten the inside of the fender lip so that it doesn't catch and tear the tires and/or your fenders. If you go with a cut fender, then you can fit a 32" tire in there. Otherwise you have to either do a body or suspension lift or both to get the tire/lift combination you want.

Hey thanks for the info. So then if I go with a 2.5" lift then 32-33's should fit fine then?

That depends on the width of your tire and if you are cut or uncut. If you have cut fenders, then you shouldn't have problems with any tire. If you are uncut, then the max width you can go with is a 10.5 and you will have to flatten the inner fender lip like I said before or you will tear tires & fenders up.

rockcrawlintj - welcome to the board, you will eventually get over that J**p issue, most people do ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I was looking at Wild Horses website and they have a great tire/lift breakdown on what you can or can't do. It isn't concrete, but it does give you a good guide line about what you can look at.

The minimal write up I am talking about is right there at the top.
