So far ive put about $150 into the exhaust to make it a lil louder then stock, it has nice rumble to it, i put a flowmaster on it, then i just put a cap on the end of the pipe to increase a little. My next experiment would be headers, but im wondering if i could pick some up off a junkyard or something, since someone told they dont go bad and i was thinkin why not? I could get em cheaper then new.

If i got headers, would it increase noise? Or deepin the tone? I know it would increase HP(Correct me if im wrong) but also, would it be expensive to pay for labor?

I have a FS Ford bronco 1990 5.0L V8

G0Army521,

I have the exact same bronco, and had headers when I bought it. I notice that It has a little more of a deep "throaty" sound than other broncos, and more rumble from the engine area too, especially on take off. Im not sure if all headers do this, but on mine when I remove my foot off the gas pedal you can hear the engine "firing" a little more out of the exhaust. My exhaust right now is short, stops right under the back rest of the back seat and has a after market dual muffler. I will be replacing it with a Flowmaster next week and using a single 3" exhaust pipe($275 out the door). Ill let you know if it sounds any different. Also, my headers were loose and leaking when I first bought it and I was quoted $300 to replace them with stock exhaust if I buy the parts. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Cut everything from the cat back and you have loud loud loud fun noise and if you punch it, you may be rewarded with a nice KABOOM of a back fire. Fun as **** in tunnels. Lol :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
