My 96 Bronco 351W suddenly seemed to struggle with acceleration going from say 20 MPG to higher speeds. After looking into possible causes the first fix I tried was cleaning the MAD Sensor. I got the "check engine" light cleared and went for a test drive of about three miles, some under stress of climbing a long hill. The light didn't come back on. Was that a tough enough test? Or should I assume I hit the problem on my first try? The engine is running smooth, exhaust seems fine. If it comes back I'll check vacuum. Got three codes, P0300, P0171 and P0174. Generic code indicating random misfires.
