Is there any way to improve the gas mileage on my truck? I have a 351 and get about 8 miles to a gallon. I Know that it is geared really really low but I dont want to change that. I was told bigger tires but that would lead to another question about lift kits. Any suggestions. And if a lift kit is necessary what is the cheapest and safest way to lift 3"? And then what do i do about the width of the rim Right now I am running 31" 10.5s. Would have to go up in size on the rims but afraid they are going to rub the fender wells? HELLLLLLPPPPP?

first off do you have and overdrive tranny? if not then you could step up to taller tires and that will do the trick somewhat. as far as a lift the simpliest and cheapest is a body lift average cost is 150.00 really simple to install. keep the current rim size those are wide enough
