loss of power and eating threw gas

i have a 88 full size bronco sometime at red lights it jumps from 1000 rpm to 500 and im losing power and its running really rich i clean the iac and egr can any one help me?

Sounds like it could be the catalytic converter, does the exhaust smell like rotten eggs?

no i talked to a shop and they said it could be fuel pressure regulator so im going to try that in the morning

yo,

pull vac line off FPR and any gas aroma or gas, scrap it and buy new from dealer

Did the shop do a diagnostic test for codes? if not, find another shop asap & DIY;

a Self Test by BroncoJoe19 do the KOEO = Key On Engine Off portion first & Remember to have engine @ Normal Operating Temperature before doing the KEY ON ENGINE RUNNING (KOER) portion
