So I've already had my shorties on for about 4 months... and wanted something bigger.

So I went to O'Rielly's and got some longe tubes.

I went to go check everything out on the passenger side and realized that there is no place on the headers to hook up the EGR valve/tube.

What do I need to do to be able to put them on???

Thanks!

Bring your old exhaust with you to an exhaust shop and have them drill and weld the EGR valve tube. I just eliminated it all together. But that would be the easiest route. Hope this helps. --Vince

Thanks for the reply, Vince.
How did you go about doing that?
Took the EGR valve off and made a plate to cover the hole on the intake. Removed all of the smog control stuff and plugged the two holes in the back of the heads with bolts. Measured the length of the belt I would need without the smog pump. Bought that and ran it. You really need to make sure you stay within the guidelines of the state you live in. Here in Lowsy Ana (Louisiana) it is not regulated that closely. --Vince

Ok, thanks.

I have a couple of friends I could get to make the switch from the old one to the new one.

Are there any other issues I'll need to worry about with Long Tubes?

Clearance issues or anything?

A friend of mine has long tubes on his and I believe they went on pretty easy. If there are any issues it may be on the pass side along the frame which can be notched out.
