So you grabbed the radius arm drop brackets and the axles pivot brackets? The easiest way I have found to remove the rivots is grind the heads off, drill through with about a 1/8 inch bit and punch it through.

Buy the most expensive bits you can find, well worth the expense. I think the ones I used were cobalt and they went through like butter

Yes, grinding the heads off and drilling them out would be best. And cobalt drill bits are really good bits for the price. As far as brake lines and drive lines. I don't think 4inches of lift would force you to need a new drive line nor should you need to get new brake lines. I personally would get longer ones anyway only because you can't be to careful and brakes are one of the last things you want to fail on you. Just make sure if you do get the lines to tuck them without going over board with it to avoid possible tire rub (thats what happned to mine) but I don't have a lift.

The driveshaft is fine up to 6 inch lift, anything more you want to get them extended. I have never changed the brake lines on a 4 inch lift. I did on 6 but that was by customer choice. Never checked to see if stock would work.

88, measure the length of the coil springs from that "lift" you got. Stock springs are 12", so they will be 16" long for a 4" lift kit. You should still consider getting a dropped Pitman arm to reduce the strain on the steering linkage. And you could weld the drop brackets, but it's often better to bolt them on and just tack weld them. JSM84

I put a cage 4 inch on mine, it allows a ridiculous amount of droop... at full extension it will snug up. I would say replace them if you intend on drivin the **** out of it, but if your on the road most of the time you should be fine.
