Hi, I've got a 94 Bronco with a 351 in it. I have a set of 35" tires lined up, and was wondering what would be the minimum lift required to fit these tires? I dont want to do any other modifications if neccassary.

Also, who/what/where makes a good, and well mannerly priced lift? And how much work is all involved, like timewise?

Thanks

I have 35's on mine with 6 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. Don't go over 3 inches with the body, it becomes very unstable and not safe. I have no rub issues with my lift, but it is a pretty good amount of mods you need to do. I personally like Rough Country. They are reasonable and have good equipment. The Tech department is also good. And no I don't work for them, I work for FORD. Good luck with the project. --Vince

the min lift for the tires would prob. be a 4inch in frount and 3 in the back.... but... you might have some rubbing problems... i had the 4 inch lift kit for my 95 with 33's and it looked good but when i put the 35's on it... well.... it looked to stuffed in the wheel well....and rubbed a lil at full turning! so i upgraded it to the 6 inch kit....

also... figure out the right back spacing for the rims is key too!

best bang for the buck would be the rough country kits! est. time is 6 hours! but things always go wrong! longest part is the factory rivets! they ****!!! lol

just cut it up:)

what is your intention for the truck? you can get away with more if its a street driven truck and you dont flex the suspension much.

It's mostly just a toy. Like an over glorified winter vehicle pretty much. Sure it'll probably see SOME mud, but nothing wild at all really.

Also, which would be more practical, a suspension lift or body lift? Sorry, I'm not the most auto savvy.

A 6 inch suspension lift is required on 92+ Broncos for 35 inch tires. Suspension lift is the safest, best lift you can get.

yardape is 100% right the suspension lift is the safest

if you aren't opposed to cutting fenders you can get away with a 4" lift and 35's

The minimum for 35's like the others have said is 4 inches but rubbing at full turn is inevitable and a 6 inch does the job better. Rough Country does make the best kit bang for buck and is $499 for the six inch. The cheapest other I found was Superlift at $780 and your getting the same components. Oh and if you havn't picked tires lock at the BFG A/T for all around Driveability or the Denman Ground Hawg II for Aggressive mud terrain styling and long treadwear.

It depends on the truck. My '90 had 33's and only rubbed radius arm (barely) and left the bumper alone. The Early 1980-1986 Broncos have even tighter fitting bumpers and the tires will clear for sure. My '95 was wort even with 32's I had to shim the Bumper 2 inches so it wouldn't rub when I hit potholes or Flexed my suspension.
