Hi all. My 85 full size bronco has a leak some where around the windshield. I want to put sealer around the windshield. My question is, how does the chrome molding come off around the outside of the windshield?

There is a slight gap between the molding and the glass but if I can help it I don't want to just put the sealer in this gap. I want to do it right by taking the molding off. Any help would be appreciated.

use tape to protect painted section of moulding and body/roof & pry off; held in by clips

Hopefully there is not a rust section that has a nice tunnel through; try applying a bead of Liquid Butyl Sealer (Ford pn F8AZ-19554-CA, or use nay b sealer from parts shops or auto paint stores) under the weatherstrip around the periphery of the windshield
