I just had a Ford dealership install a new fuel pump on my 94 Ford Bronco which cost me 1000 bucks and just this morning my temp gauge went straight to "H" after 6 freeway miles. I parked it and after it cooled I put 2 Prestone jugs in the radiator. The bottom leaked out about 8 ounces of rusty colored fluid mixed with oil. I tried to run the air hot on the way home but the gauge still shot up to the red line. I looked under the engine and saw that the main "drip" was coming from a hose beneath the engine. Am I looking at a hose replacement or something bigger? A Ford tech called the fuel pump before I even took it in, so I'm hoping to find an answer here. The pump nearly killed my bank account so I'm hoping for a simple fix. Thanks.

the key is to find out exactly where the leak is coming from. when the upper and lower hoses are dry inspect them for damage, or cracks. they should be obvious.

if you have to fill the rad with water and see if it leaks when the bronco is not running. also check the drain plug at the bottom of the rad.

then if you see no leaks then start up the bronco and keep a very close eye on the hoses, the water pump and thermostat housing.

if it is not obvious after that then I have no idea
