Just Wondering

I just bought a 1988 Bronco and made the mistake of assuming that it had automatic locking hubs and engaged the 4 wheel gears a couple of times. every thing seems prefect still, but i was wondering what damage i did or could have done any help or advise would be great thanks

You wouldn't have caused any damage. You engaged the transfercase, the forward driveshaft, and front diff, and axles, just not the wheels too. No problem. So all that stuff was spinning, but not under any load.
