Introduction

Hey All,

I am a recent college grad who has been driving Little Hondas all my life. I was given this beautiful truck from my future father in law. So I plan to put the Accord away and see what american cars are really made of! I see lots of great trucks out here and woudl like to know what I can do. I am not into off roading yet but want to know if I should get bigger rims? take off the spare tire rack? tint? I am up for many suggestions. Also the truck has a 4inch lift on it as well. Thank you!!

Welcome to BroncoZone! I would keep that Accord if you can afford to insure both vehicles, you'll see why after you gas up the Bronco a couple of times. Lot's of us have an economical second car for grocery getting. (they also make good parts runners when the Bronco is disasembled in the driveway and you discover you need more parts than you thought) Think of your new truck as a blank canvas waiting for you to make it "yours". I would drive the truck as is for a while so you can discover for yourself what parts you like "as is" and what things you would like to change. While you're evaluating what you have and where you want to go with it, continue to read stuff here and on other forums, you will find lots of great ideas. Take your time and research, research, research. The 4" lift is a great place to start, there are a lot of awsome rigs with just 4" of lift.

That's a heck of a father-in-law if you ask me... Well, as long as you can still hang out with the daugter after you get the Bronco "bug." I hear "You play with that stupid truck ALL the time!" from my wife but oh well. Me and the almost-two-year-old LOVE playing/ working on it. Enjoy your new toy!

Maybe the father-in-law is including the truck becuase he doesn't want his little girl to miss it after she's married. My wife goes wheeling with me all the time.

I forgot to mention up above how lucky you are to have a father-in-law like that. I wish I had in-laws that I could get along with.
