Well I just wanted to give a quick tip to some other not so knowledgeable home mechanics's like my self. I have an 84 bronco with the D44 that is twin traction beam. when putting the warn hubs in if the drive shaft C clip groove is under the hub so you cant get the C clamp on the drive shaft just put a pry bar on the U joint of the drive shaft and push it out, work's like a charm. I just got the hub's from napa and went to return them because they were not the right one's (witch they were)and they gave me warn's number and the guy gave me that tip. worked like a charm.

Never heard of a wheel tire bolting up to a driveshaft, so, axle would be the happening tip...

Course, that is just nitpicking now isn't it... :D/

You dont really even need to put that c-clip over the end of the axle, all its there for is to prevent the axle from moving but really how far is it going to go? I dont use the c-clips and nothing has ever happened to me.
