This morning I was installing a new Helix Throttle spacer and ran into problems.

When I took off the throttle, it notuced there was oil residue and gunk all around the inside area. So I traced it back to the filter box. I clened it up as best as I could.

when removing the throttle cable the plastic part of it was dry and as soon as i touched it, it fell apart. When reinstalling it I tried rigging it together with zip ties, this did not work. it keeps the truck accelerated.

The kit that was sent to me has the wrong relocating tabs for the bracket that holds the cables. I had to rig it a little but still needs work. The bracket is not seated right, I will had to rig the bracket to make it seat right.

I took some pictures but i wont have time to upload them till later on tonight or tommorow.

Has anyone installed one of these and ran into the same problems?

:((

Now I have to fuel up my Chevy Nova to get to work. SUCKSSSSSSSS

Here are some pictures of my troubles, the last picture was it rigged up trying to find a temporary solution, all this did was keep the truck accelerated.

By the way, I added new pictures to my gallery.
