My friend has a 93 bronco, that keeps eating front tires. He has had all new bushings in the front end including: upper and lower ball joints, pivot bushings, radius arm bushings, he also has new wheel bearings both sides. He has had it realigned three times in the last year. But it keeps doing that toe out thing that fords usually do. We took the front end off the bronco and i noticed that the holes where the pivot bushing bolts go through were oblong shaped pretty bad. So it was moving up and down in the hole instead of using the bushings. The bolts were also worn out, what can i do for this problem. One of the pivot points is on the crossmember, and the other has a seperate bracket. Should i weld the holes up and redrill the holes or what should i do? Also where do i get new pivot bushings bolts? I'm pretty sure after this is fixed the bronco will quit eating tires.

You could weld the worn side of the hole that would be fine . As for bolts tractor supply should have some grade 8,s that length . Also should check the springs for sag my F150 did that too and finally I got a new set of springs for it and the tires are straight up and down again . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

you can buy new brackets, but you will probably have to lift it. judging by your siggie, you have yet to do it. sounds like a good excuse
