Which one of you FSB guys can give me a walk through on dis-assembling a set of auto hubs off of an 83 FSB?

I have to cabbage on to this because it is the same hub used in the disc brake conversion for the EB & I trashed my hub & spindle over the weekend. The outter spindle nut came off & cross threaded back on so I have to cut the outter hub off to be able to cut the spindle nut off to take the whole shootin' match apart. I have never torn a FSB auto hub apart, or any auto hub for that matter, so edu-ma-cate me on this. I gotta do it tomorrow over my lunch break so I am hoping it is as easy as pulling manual lock-outs apart.

very simple. remove the cap bolts with an allen wrench, and look for the outer snap ring on the axleshaftthat holds the guts inside, just like a manual locking hub. remove the ring around the inside edge of the hub, pull the 'guts' out and use the spanner wrench on the outer spindle lock nut. think you can get the rest, JSM84

edit: it helps to use two of the allen-head cap screws to pull the hub assly out. put them back into the hub about 1/2", gives you something to grab onto.

Yes, I read that. If you have one or two picks, it helps to remove those little parts once they're loose.

I've got a manual hub on the passenger side that I believe has a broken spring. Any suggestions on what to do? Can I get just a new spring, or do I need to get a whole new hub assembly, or set?

Maybe someone will send you one for a vrery Low $ or free since they have em left-over from a swap to auto hubs.

The MAIN SPOSOR here; JEFF's BRONCOGRAVEYARD.COM used to LIST that hub wave spring in their on-line catalog, but I don't see it there or as part of any Hub repair kit for WARN, MILEMARKER or FORD OEM (WARN made most if not all for FORD).

If you have time, CALL or e mail WARN for a free replacement
