I don't see why it wouldn't. You really won't have to worry until you get into high amperage situations like a winch or multiple offroad lights

From everything I've read, you will need to upgrade to a 3G alternator for an electric fan install. Check out Miesk5's page on alternators...virtually everything you want to know is here:

Thats too much alternator info, all I need to know is how much my system is drawing and if my 75 amp alt will handle it. I dont have a winch or off road lights or major stereo system so I think for now i'm good?

I think you are good, run it on a toggle switch, if it so happens to drain your battery a bit shut it off. Are you hooking it up with that switch I suggested or direct wiring?

Mine is leaking where the core meets the side plastic piece. So I'm guessing its better to replace than fix. Thing always ran hot anyway. I also want to go with an electric fan while i'm at it. But anyway should I go with a stock replacement or all metal and is it worth the extra cost?

My dad owns a truck salvage yard here in in cali and says that a F-250 rad. is 3 rows and can go straight in, he also reccomends you steal the elec ffans of a dodge caravan as they are duel units, just run them to a switch to turn on and off and your set >

If you want an awesome electric fan system, and all B.S. aside, use the duel settup from the early '90's GM V-6 cars.I am currently running a pair on my Bronco and my'77 with a 460cid.I started using this settup over ten years ago from the first engine I built(400M) with the avise from a well seasoned stock car racer/builder.The recent install on my bronco makes the eighth time ive used this system and ive never had an overheat or any other problems. They are very easy to find at any salvage yard and very cheap.I pay between $10.00 and $20.00 for the pair. They com off of cars such as the Beretta,Cutlass Supr.,and anything with a 3.1liter.For the thermo switch, you can get universal one at any AutoZone for $22.00.I hope this helps, and it will save you a lot of money with no regrets.
