hurst Floor shifter conversion

I just installed my Floor shifter conversion and noticed that the 1/rev shift rod drags against the T-case shift rod....should I bend the 1/R rod or flip the rod from the T-case over? anyone else had this problem?

It's just difficult to get into 1st gear because the two rods rub together,

Jayson, did you receive two sets of rods with your shifter??

There are different rods for the t-shift and the j-shift t cases...

I did receive both sets of rods and check p/n's for correct year....instructions did say some bending may be required....I just think that if I leave it alone it may cause damage down the road from the friction
