I have an 82 bronc with the danna 44 front and I'm having tire rub issues with my 38 in tires. I like the rims that were on the truck when I bought it but they have 4 1/4" backspacing and and its noticibly reduced how sharp I can turn since I put on the bigger tires. I'm getting wheel adapters to bring the tires out enough to clear the frame and radius arms better but I want to get ones that are hubcentric so as not to stress the lug bolts. My question is what is the hub diameter? I see adapters in the right lug patern but several different bore sizes. I'd go out and measure the hub on my truck but it stored 4 hours away in my folks barn.

I believe that its '99 and later trucks that use hubcentric wheels..

to make them fit 5 x 5.5" hubs just drill the alloy rims bolt holes

11/16" to make them work..

1. Buy a 11/16 S&D drill bit.

2. Chuck new bit into your 1/2" drill.

3. Turn new wheel over and place drill squarely into lug holes.

4. Drill straight through -do not elongate the holes- just enlarge!

5. Go to wheel store and buy 1/2x20 short shank washer style lug nuts.

6. Install wheels on your truck and torque new lug nuts to 90ft/lb.

7. Drive 30 minutes and re-torque nuts.

8. Enjoy!!!

That's not what I meant lobo. I didn't mean the lugs. I mean the hub that the big hole in the center of the wheel goes around. What is the diamater of that so I can get wheel spacers/adapters that fit good and snug. But dont worry about it. I'm goin out to my folks place this weekend and I'll just measure it when I get there.

I know what you are looking for, but I don't believe that there is anyone making such an animal. If you are using 38 inch tires, I assume that you have a lift installed. Did you get new radius arms with the lift?

Good luck,

:)>-
