I have my bronco since 2 weeks but I don't have an owners manual. :excl: So I have a question. How to use the 4x4. Can I put the 4x4 during driving or have I to stop the car ? When I get the 4x4 out, the same question. Tomorrow I want to go offroad and I want to know how is the right way >:) ! Thanks

Did you get the info you needed? If not, what year and transmission type (manual/auto)? If it's similar to mine ('87 w/ automatic), I'll scan the appropriate pages of my manual and email them to you.

for auto hubs you have to lock the hubs then back up like 10 feet but you have to stop the truck to engage the 4X4

The proceedure should be on your driver side visor. You can shift between 4hi and 2hi at any time without stopping. For manual hubs, you can lock them before driving. However, running with your hubs engaged will reduce your milage. I run that way when road conditions are bad. If the hubs are automatic, they will lock in but you have to stop and do the reverse 10 foot thing to unlock them.

Good luck,

:)>-
