horn don't work

i have a 1994 bronco,my horn doesn't work when i push the buttons,but it works when i set the alarm. i was told it was a contact or pad,does anyone know anything about this problem and if so where can i get the part(s) ?

Sounds like you got pretty goood information about the possible failure. Does the speed control work? The reason for asking is that the horn and speed control use the same contacts except for one. Under the center section of the steering wheel there are 3 brushes (a spring loaded brass pin). One of them is the contact from the horn button to the horn relay, these can wear down. To get at them you will have to pull the steering wheel.

Also, you can remove the speed control horn switch assemble to check the contacts and connections inside it. There is what's called a clock spring under the button that makes contact when you press it. However, if neither button works it is most likely a bad connection, either the wire from the buttons or the brush.
