Should the two tubes on the heater core that extend thru the fire wall come straight thru the fire wall or be at an angle? Mine is at an angle. I had removed it during a frame off I am doing and also replaced the firewall insulation behind it. Everything looks tight, but the angle they are at doesn't leave much tube to clamp on the hoses. Help!

I should add that I did not disassemble the heater itself, just removed it and reinstalled it. I guess I didn't notice how it was prior to removal.

I am pretty sure they stick through the firewall, but not very much. Will try to find a picture.

I cannot find s-l1600 (1).jpgs-l640.jpg

I cannot find any decent pictures of how far they stick through the firewall but it is just enough to get a hose clamp on.
Hope that helps.
