Heated windshield?

I have a 89 crown vic that has a heated windshield and really like it in the winter and was wondering if the trucks/broncos had that option,if I get a bronco with EFI I can a remote start to warm it up but the heated windshield is one of the best options I have ran accross.

I haven't ever seen a FSB w/a heated WS; but there are; "...Everblades® Heated Windshield Wiper Bladeshave a heating element inside the rubber squeegee. The heat is activated through the wiring and switch provided and hooked up to any vehicle’s 12 volt electrical system..." over $140.00 w/heated frame US though

but the remote start is great; I have a Valet sys in my 96; it has worked flawlessy since installed in 97. I have it on Silent Mode which means that the horn does Not honk when starting or using the PDLs to lock/unlock; Idid this because the SPAL PDLs I installed have really substantial actuators that can be heard from 20' away; sounds like a Naval M60 machine gun being cocked (as they say, when you hear that sound, you know it's too late....)

anyway, I know GM had huge problems in recent past w/their heated washer fluid system due to a fire risk.

My 1990 Bronco has the rear window defrost on it. Is that what you mean when you say heated windshield ? But it is not automatic it must be activated by the defrost switch that is right beside the rear window up/down switch.

Along with the heated rear window my 89 crown vic has a heated windshield,I was hoping it was a option on the trucks too but remote start will do.
