Need everones help with this. My Bronco II broke down this past weekend. I was sitting at a light and when i took off from the light the when hit 25mph the engine started racing and then died. When i tried to restart it nothing happened other that the starter kind of rolling. the engine would not turn over. can any one give me some insight on what happened and what i'll need to do to fix it. Thanks

what have you looked at to try to get it started? have you checked battery and terminals to make sure there isnt anything loose or corroded? any loose electrical connections at coil, distributor, or alternator?

Had a similar problem recently and found it to be the ignition coil and eventually low fuel pressure because of a bad fuel pump. Try using a fuel gauge and seeing what the pressure is when off and if you can get it started when idle.
